Choco-Latte-Read-a-Latte Mother-Daughter Book Club
A Mother-Daughter Book Club was started by the CALM Society to encourage girls to be strong, educated and confident. In the Choco-Latte-Read-a-Latte Book Club mothers and daughters are uniformed in chocolate brown and pink custom made t-shirts worn with khaki pants. The book club has 31 members and is a flourishing force for the eye to see. The club meets at Barnes & Nobles every fourth Wednesday of each month. Reading is fundamental, educational and provides a vast number of experiences for the reader. We have a committed group of mothers and daughters opening up and sharing their views, ideas, the characters and the situations within the stories read. Connections are made, friendships are formed and the mother-daughter relationship is elevated. read more
